Located in the Champagne Valley, in the Central Drakensberg, Champagne Castle Hotel and Resort is an easily drive-able distance from either Johannesburg or Durban, on well maintained roads, and makes it an extremely accessible venue within South Africa’s most beautiful mountain range.
The Hotel and Resort offers a full package from the chapel, to the reception venue, to comfortable and luxurious accommodation. Once your party arrives, there’s no need to leave until the celebration has come to an end. Your reception will be held in our beautiful banqueting room a short walk up from the Chapel.
Please take note of the following conditions attached to staging your wedding reception:
A maximum of 80 people can be accommodated for wedding receptions.
Due to the proximity of the venue to the hotel rooms and chalets, we regret to advise that only soft background music is allowed.
The Chapel has seating for 50 people and by opening the glass sliding doors, there is standing room for a further 25-30 people.
