Champagne Castle Hotel: highly recommended
Champagne Valley is my favorite hiking ground in the Drakensberg, and the Champagne Castle Hotel is my favorite place to stay. That is why I book a chalet year after year. The management of reservations, the reception, service, food, the gardens, everything I can think of that could impact on the quality of my visit, is of an exceptionally high standard.

Perfect for honeymooners.
The best resort we've ever been to. And we've been to alot of resorts. Food and accommodation is excellent. Friendly staff. Total relaxation with private patios. Highly recommended! A honeymooners dream!

Great escape
The atmosphere was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room had a wonderful view of the mountain. The scenic view helped washed the cares of the city out of our bodies, re-energizing us.

Fantastic holiday!
A fantastic holiday. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and geared for somebody needing assistance with a walker. The staff were always helpful. The meals were outstanding! A large variety of delicious choices.

Ein schönes romantisches Hotel mitten in den Drakenbergen
Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit herrlicher Aussicht zu den Drakenbergen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man kümmerte sich gleich um die Gäste, die ein Problem haben. Wir bekamen gleich ein anderes Zimmer, als man merkte, dass ich ein Problem mit den Treppen zu unserem Zimmer hatte. Es gibt viel am Buffet auszusuchen, wir hatten ein wenig das Gefühl, in einem All inklusive Hotel gelandet zu sein, was nicht am Hotel liegt, sondern eher an den Gästen. Es gab auch eine Bar, die wie ein Kaminzimmer in einem schottischen Castle wirkte, total romantisch. Man könnte im Pool schwimmen und Tennis spielen, Reiten, wandern....
