If you’re reading this page because our Gates were closed today for Day-Visitors, we’d like to both explain why hotels around the world do this from time to time, and also to give you expanded detail on the ‘explanation flyer’ that you may have been given at our gate.
Thank you for visiting Champagne Castle Hotel today. While the hotel is open to day visitors for the vast majority of the year, when the hotel is full, we unfortunately have to restrict access in order to ensure that our residential guests have the best possible experience. This is practiced by hotels all around the world.
We pride ourselves in being a small family hotel, and during peak times (school holidays and long weekends, etc) there can be upwards of 300 guests and staff on the property. During these times we can easily have 30-40 cars arriving requesting drinks, lunch, tea, etc at the hotel. We’re unable to accommodate those extra guests without compromising our residential guest’s experience.
The team at Champagne Castle Hotel are in the business of hospitality, and turning any guest away goes against everything we stand for. We do understand that you may feel put out by our gate closure today. It is not our intention that you feel like that. In fact, we’d hope that you feel exactly the opposite. Next time you stay with us, you can be assured that we will do everything we can to give you the best possible experience.
